I received a request to make this Mother's Day card. The Russian dolls here worked perfectly as they are a family of 5. I have to admit that tracing and cutting small details were a pain but I know W was happy with the result, so it was all worth it.
Here was the original picture she sent me (sorry I don't know who to credit):
This is the card I made:
And since she wanted the same phrase on her card, I couldn't forget the "With Love!"
Thank you for visiting my blog. Here you'll find some of the creations I've made for fun, for friends, and for sale. Hope you like them!

Mother's Day Cards
In anticipation of Mother's Day this Sunday, I wanted to share a few simple cards I made for this occasion.
For B's mother-in-law:
A quick one "Happy Mother's Day" in Chinese, from a "cute couple" on the inside
And lastly, one that could work for birthday or a just because card for a dessert lover, but in this case, I stamped the inside with "Happy Mother's Day".

Non-traditional Mother's Day cards
Continuing with the Mother's Day cards theme, here are a couple of designs which are not so traditional but that I still made great Mother's Day cards.
Here's a "booklet" which spells MOM! when closed. As you flip through the pages it reads "We love you". I absolutely love the design, and so did my customer.

This 3 little pigs design was requested by a customer who asked me to cut-out a big pig to represent her mom (who was born in the year of the pig) and two little pigs to represent her and her brother. She also specifically asked for the red dotted paper which is one of her favourites. The slit in the pig was cut so that she could put in some cash as the gift.

"Traditional" Mother's Day cards
I admit I've slacked off in posting but I certainly haven't slacked in my card and jewelry making.
Here's a floral Mother's Day card fit for a more "traditional" mom, or one that likes flowers! To counteract the busy design, I've left the interior blank, but we could always add something there too if you'd like.

Another girly design I've put together is actually quite versatile - it could easily be used as a wedding card, birthday card, you name it. I've left space on the front of the card to write the recipient's name, and the inside says "Happy Mother's Day" in Chinese.
